The Andre’ Bosse Center, our community partners and volunteers work diligently throughout the year to ensure that all children in our area are safe and secure. The following are a few of the ways that the Andre’ Bosse Centers are educate the community on how they can make a difference in the life of a child.

Child Abuse Prevention Month - During the month of April 2006, the Andre’ Bosse Centers distributed 28,000 blue lapel ribbons to individuals throughout Oceana, Newaygo and Mason County. The ribbons served to increase child abuse awareness and remind us that we all play a role in keeping children in our community safe. Newspaper articles, pre-recorded radio spots and on-air radio interviews were conducted on the warning signs of child abuse and how to report suspected child abuse.

Do 1 Thing Handout
