Andre’ Bosse Kid’s House of Mason County

302 Hansen St.
Hart, MI 49431

The Andre’ Bosse Center, originally named the Oceana Children’s Help Center, was founded in 1998 by Matt and Linda Bosse after their eleven year old daughter was forcibly abducted from her home, raped and then murdered in 1997. The Bosse’s, along with Michigan State Police Trooper William Burd, founded the Andre’ Bosse Center with a desire to protect other children from the horror of abuse. In 1999, the current building in Hart, MI was purchased and dedicated to the memory of Andre’ to provide a safe haven for child victims undergoing child abuse investigation.

The Andre’ Bosse Center has since grown into a 501(c) 3 non-profit corporation serving children in the rural western Michigan area with prevention, education and multi-disciplinary services for child victims. These services include on-site forensic interviews and medical examinations, victim advocacy, supervised visitation, emotional/crisis support, foster care support, and preparation for court.
