Victim Advocacy

The Victim Advocate will provide conversation and a listening ear for family members and/or caregivers who are at their wits end with the frustrations of caring for children and adolescents. The Advocate focuses on preventing abuse and neglect from happening to the child or adolescent by providing face to face conversations, education, community service referrals, and support for the family members and/or caregivers.

Forensic Interview Room

This room is designed with a child’s needs in mind, the results are more relaxed; confident child giving a more detailed forensic disclosure.

This service provides a welcoming and friendly environment for children. The Center is a non judgmental, neutral area for families that focuses on the well-being of the child.

CAIT

Child Abuse Investigation Team

This team of dedicated professionals from law enforcement, medicine, mental health, the prosecutor’s office, the Department Of Human Services, and a child advocate, to determine appropriate actions during a child abuse investigation while ensuring comprehensive support services to a family and/or a child who is caught in the vicious cycle of child abuse.

 

Supervised Visitation

KidSafe Prevention Programs include presentations for adults and children with topics centered around child abuse and neglect prevention education of the Center’s choosing or the requesting group. Training of community members and professionals are also available. This is a wide-ranging area of service funded by the Children’s Trust Fund.

 

Andre’s Angels

André’s Angels works to meet the basic needs of children to relieve stress from families and increase the self esteem of children. The Angels let the Andre’ Bosse Center know they wish to be on an email list and to receive news of children’s needs and sponsor items as they can.

 

91% of sex offenders are known to the child or adolescent victim. 90% of the victims were abused by a parent or parents.
